Advanced MUA Procedures

The Advanced MUA protocols course that can take the MUA physician to the next level. It will help the physician deal with specific conditions including but not limited to: neural tension in the upper and lower extremities, CAM and PINCHER issues with the hip, Labral tears and much more. If a physician is already certified in manipulation under anesthesia, the advanced class can be a great asset to additional patients with these conditions. The advance class will be (12) hours in length, divided with (6) hours of lecture on a Friday afternoon and (6) hours of hands at a local ASC, (temporary privileges will need to be obtained based on location).

  • Be a current member of the American Academy of MUA Physicians in good standing.
  • Register for the Advanced class and pay the $1500 course fee
  • Proof of Current BLS-HCP CPR certification.
  • Proof of Certification in MUA.
  • 150 cases is recommended prior to the advanced course.
